April Show and Tell

The April meeting was held by returned snowbird, Gail Mitchell, after her winter in Florida...but thankfully she arrived back last week and to loads and loads of snow that she and her husband had to have trucked away from their yard/driveway.  WHAT A WINTER!  Great meeting Gail and we were all glad to see you back.

Linda Wolstenholme with her sidekick June Goodine gave a great and inspiring synopsis of the NB Gathering of the Guilds weekend.  This year GoG was held at The Villa Madonna in Saint John in Early April, and was sponsored by the Marco Polo Guild.  It sounded like an inspirational time at the Villa with lots of reports, and new projects shown, and the take home message from Linda was that we at CMQG are "on board" with all of our creations.  Being quite up to date with the rest of our province is a good feeling.  Thanks for the work Linda and June!

Show and Tell, as always, was well stocked, have a look...

Things were started off by this scrappy quilt made and quilted by "Gwenda Quilts"... Gwenda Mattinson!
