Our first Meeting of CMQG for 2015-2016

September 21st

Hi Folks

  First day of summer, first meeting of CMQG!

  Business was looked after quickly with thank you cards, buddy system for CMQG news for those not on email, sign up sheet for workdays all discussed, as well as Jo-Anne reading the minutes of our last meeting.

  Special time given to our industrious Workshop Committee  Jennifer, Cecile and Linda W each spoke of the upcoming projects, great job!!  I will attempt (soon) to put the scanned notes of the workshop committee on this blog. Keep in mind that the Retreat is planned for Nov. 4th and 5th.

  Mention was made of our CMQG members who won at the Fredericton Exhibition...Gwenda M, Bertha, Sandra D, Cecile.  Congratulations to each of you!

  Gail M spoke of The Ville and its exciting classes coming up. Keep watch and "in the know" at http://thevillesewingroom.blogspot.ca

  After our business meeting, there was an acknowledgement of Bertha's special birthday which happens next week.  Joan our Coordinator presented Bertha with a yummy looking chocolate cupcake.  Congratulations Bertha and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
