March Meeting of CMQG

The March meeting was held on the third Monday of March...yes it was St. Patrick's Day 2014!  You will see some green within the following photos of Show and Tell.  The meeting was chaired by Gwenda Mattinson while the co Coordinator Gail Mitchell is still snow-birding, and not wanting to come back to NB until the snow is gone, which might mean July at our rate of snowfall!

Charity Day Workshop:

Volunteer helpers for the Charity Day Workday:

Following the meeting we had our annual Charity Day workshop, where Jennifer S had organized fabric, patterns and kits for members to cut, assemble, press and sew at the site, or...take home to return at our next meeting.  From this day will come completed crumb catchers for the nursing homes, NICU baby quilts, as well as kits formed for completion.

Have a look at the happy worker-bees below.

GUILD Reliables:

Our Librarian

Our monthly ticket seller/money maker :)
Myrna sells tickets, as well as keeps everyone on the straight and narrow at each meeting, and probably in between too.

So, that is all for this month folks, come back in April.

  1. Thanks so much for the recap. I feel that I was there. I LOVE those scrappy quilts that Joan Baldwin taught. I'm definitely going to have to make one of those.... Thanks for posting KT
