January's Meeting and Show and Tell-2014!

Monday was our first meeting of the year, with good attendance (70+) and chaired by Joan Baldwin. Both of the co-chairs were away, one as a snowbird, and one to another meeting in another city.   Several topics that were on the agenda, were gone through and then we were entertained by a lovely Show and Tell.
Enjoy the pictures and thanks to Joanne for writing the names for me of who owns which project.

 WORKSHOP

Following a short break after Show and Tell, Joan Baldwin gathered the participants in the workshop of the day to go over the "how to" put the workshop quilt together.  As you can see there were many who wanted to make the quilt, despite the cool day.  It sounded like a good time was had .

Thanks Joan for the teaching and the start of lovely quilts.  No doubt we will see the finished quilts coming through in the near future.

See you next time,
Kathy F.
