JUNE meeting of CMQG

This sunny June morning (today, June 10th), we of the Cottonmill Quilt Guild had our last meeting of the quilting season.  Along with the meeting  we had an auction and Pot Luck luncheon organized and managed by the amazing and capable Carol Hallett.

I captured Carol's smile and not her eyes...

and this one captures her eyes, but not the smile!

Gail Mitchell, our Coordinator held the meeting and kept us in line as we all anticipated the silent auction coming up.  Registration happened before and during the meeting and hopefully all were able to sign up for our exciting year next year.

Joanne Gallagher will have, and read the minutes of this meeting at our September meeting.  Treasurer Ann Coles gave our bank account results.

Following the meeting was our monthly SHOW AND TELL which was prolific this month, everyone was very busy finishing up projects!

  Have a look!

  1. Thanks Kathy for posting. I don't think I can pick a favorite. I was really inspired by Connie's black and white disappearing nine patch. And loved Cecile's lily quilt. The runners were all nice too. I would have never thought to change the color of the red flower. Neat. I think I might try that. It's been a great year. Thanks for all your picture taking.
