Donation Day!

As our members know, each December the Guild makes  a donation of goods and a cheque to the Homeless Shelter in Fredericton. Even covid could not stop this from happening this year too.

With the help of Warren Maddox, Executive Director of the Fredericton Homeless Shelter, two trusty elves in the form of Jennifer S. and Cecile G, greeted members and unloaded their vehicles. Two vehicles were fully loaded with a donation from the Guild of 12 quilts that they had been working on this year, coffee, tea, creamer and sugaras well as personal donations from the guild members of 3 more quilts, clothing, personal care products and entertainment in the form of art supplies, crafts and puzzles.

Good on you, Guild members, for all your kind donations! They are sure to be appreciated.

Good luck on the draw to all our donors today and again thank you so much for your generosity.

I was sad that we couldn't have a show and tell today for more pics to post.  If you have any finished projects, please forward a picture and any description you'd like added to the blog.

Happy Sewing,

Gloria P.
