December just got more real this week!

The weather certainly said to hunker down this week, winter is here and Christmas is around the corner.

The following are my own recent completions that I opted to photograph outside - my fingers were frozen by the time I finished.

This pattern is Bentos Box and is queen size.  I did a gray polkdot back.

This started out as a pattern called Serengeti but I changed it along the way.  I had problems getting this one to photograph as bright as it actually it.  The oranges are quite intense and the border is royal blue.  The back is flannel.

This is a lap quilt from the leftovers of a queen size quilt I finished earlier this year.  I used the scraps to make the back.  The pattern was from a book by Bonnie & Camille.

This is a panel by Northcott and the finished quilt is about 60 x80.  I used the border fabric for the back as well.  I quilted it to resemble rolling waves and added starfish, shells and birds in between.

Happy Sewing,
Gloria P.
