Our First October Completions!

Barb E. has been busy using up her small scraps and panels.

Barb tells us  to look "off center...look for a larger white block.   About 1200 -  2 1/2 inch squares from my scraps.  Yea.  White strip on the bottom will be my label."

Barb also made the following quilt.  She said "This is the last of 3 identical panels, each with different borders. Only scraps of these fabrics left.  Note the gentle curve of line between sky and forest.  I quilted it on my home sewing machine."

Barb, these are both lovely!  Hope you made a dent in your scraps.

Like many quilters, I'm always on the hunt for a great pattern to use up the scraps to the last few threads of all the fabrics I bought and loved.  It sure takes a lot of sewing to shrink a large pile of scraps.

Happy sewing,
Gloria
