Hope everyone is well and managing to fill their hours of self-isolation with lots of sewing and other projects. My house has never been so clean or my dog so exercised. I've lots of sewing done but still seem to have hardly made a serious dent in the stash???
As the result of a guest presentation by Heather O'Leary on Quilts of Valour, Joan B. and Marj D. took up the challenge. A floating star block was designed by Marj D. and emailed to our members for anyone wishing to join in this project. See pattern below.
I had some smaller star blocks on hand that I have already made into the quilt below for donation (59 x 80) but will continue on with the pattern from Joan for some extras. I need to complete this one with binding.
If any of our guild members would like to share their photos of recent finishes, I'd be happy to do a virtual show & tell. Send your recent finished project photos to Kathy F and she will pass them on!
