October at Cotton Mill Guild


   During October we had both a Braid Quilt class given by our sister guild of Mirimichi and a Mini Retreat in honour of our 10th Anniversary year.  GREAT TIMES.  I will show you a smattering of photos.
  Huge thanks to Joan B and Jennifer S for their work feeding and organizing 32+ members for 2 days during our Mini Retreat!!

At our MiniRetreat, Nancy Colpitts of Lansdown Studio set up a store in the meeting room.  It was amazing what she carried in to entice us, and entice us she did...!!!






    Sewing was the main intent of this fun mini retreat, but there was certainly a lot of chatter, sharing and there were prizes!, visitors, and good food with more camaraderie.

































Next time I hope more members can attend!!

    I always enjoy your posts. You guys do so many quilts and other things that I am amazed. I wish I lived close enough to come to your guild meetings, but Oklahoma is too far way. Happy Stitching!!!

    Hi Cottonmill quilters, If anyone has finished their Twister Table Runner, please let me know where you go after you ruth the first row. Still confused as to what happens and how they are sewn together. Thanks Carol Mercer
