October 2017, Show and Tell

Hello,

The October meeting was held on Monday in cool autumn sunshine. Inside actually, but definitely red,orange,yellow fall leaves to view while driving!

Thanks to DianneK and Marj who recorded, took photos and sent them to me for the blog.  something happened in the taking of the photos, to leave some of them rather distorted, but I will post some, edit some and hope you enjoy!

Thanks to Margie C for the workshop on "little zipper bags".  Everyone enjoyed.😊

Joan B created this amazing quilt for her daughter, to honour her 40th birthday AND her feat as an IRONMAN! (Top is comprised of teeshirts, and special sprinting and swimming fabric).  Amazing keepsake Joan.

I hope to be able to get pictures of another quilt that was shown and post at a later date.
