October 2016 Meeting, Show and Tell

This month's meeting was chaired by Joan Baldwin on a beautiful autumn October morning! The changing leaves were a beautiful medley of reds, oranges, yellows and greens to view on my way to our meeting.

Our workshop committee volunteer, Margie C, explained our year's project the Hunter's Star with Cecile G.  There are a variety of colours that one can use.  I believe that this will begin in November, so think about your colours...and get ready!

Our Mini Retreat that will be held on November 2,3 now has a waiting list. Linda W was diligently collecting money to hold participant's places for this FUN even

SHOW and TELL

This month we had a Teddy Bear made from a 1916 vintage family quilt made by Carol Anne M for a friend.  It was amazing so I took several photos so you could see the many hand embroideries.
